Hilary Duff è tornata con Mature

Nel 2015, a otto anni di distanza da Dignity, Hilary Duff è tornata con Breathe In Breathe Out, da cui sono stati estratti diversi singoli, in particolare quei gioielli pop che sono Sparks e My Kind (che non abbiamo fatto diventare hit e per questo dobbiamo chiedere perdono). Dopo l’ennesima lunghissima pausa, la popstar di Wake Up è tornata in studio di registrazione e finalmente oggi ha pubblicato un nuovo singolo, Mature.

Niente di sorprendente o innovativo, Hilary Duff per questo ritorno ha puntato sull’usato sicuro, con un pezzo pop che rientra in pieno nel suo stile, Mature è un brano orecchiabile e radiofonico, con un ritornello che si fa canticchiare al primo play. L’operazione nostalgia direi che è stata confezionata con successo, chi è cresciuto a pane e TRL non potrà che apprezzare.

Non soltanto il comeback discografico, la popstar americana ha anche annunciato una docuserie sulla sua vita, che mostrerà ai fan il lavoro dietro a questo sul nuovo progetto musicale e scorci del suo quotidiano. La serie diretta e prodotta dal vincitore di un Emmy Award, Sam Wrench, è stata descritta come “un ritratto autentico di questa star, che ci porterà tra le prove per i nuovi show, le giornate passate in studio a incidere nuovi brani e la preparazione per tornare sul palco dopo una decade”.
